I found this photo of Skot Yusof Mamat dated circa 1986. I was informed by a former Air Defence personnel , En Kamaruzaman Mokhtar, skot Yusof left service a year after this photo was taken, probably going back to his hometown of Trengganu. Currently 'The Macha' (not to be confused with 'Da Macai') is with  an Airline operating in Japan. Left the service in 1992,  'In search of new frontier, to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before'. err that one is Star trek la , actually just a short byline 'to seek new greener pastures'  ;D .. 3 'Yusufs' found, hmmm... anyone knows the wherebout of Yusuf  'Cina' Mamat, Air Defence Officer, RMAF?

Capt (R) Mohd Yusof Rabaie RMAF

Met him today in Taiping at around 3:45 PM. Currently doing his own business at the corner lot in Wisma Persekutuan building in Taiping, next to Taiping IPD. We did a few minutes of chit chat, as his customers are waiting for him n I've got to move on. He told me Zambri Hassan had informed him on the reunion this coming June 19th. He left service in 1991. I feel exhilarated just seeing him  after so many years :D

Capt (R) Wan Hamat bin Sapee RMAF

Met him at Shah Alam. We talk about the good old times, right up from Sebatangkarah, RMC, the days when we were at stationed together at Kinrara, over two glasses of 'Teh beng' each. Last saw him 6 to 8 eight years when we went together with Abdul Aziz Jamal and Abdul Razak Abdul Rahman to SSC Intake 34 Reunion to a Hotel in Malacca. He left in the early nineties, did several jobs and has been a remisier for almost 11 years till now.

Capt (R) Abdullah Ishak, RMAF

Aka 'Dollah Kopeng' , 'Ex Boy'. Currently with MHS. I 'google' on our skot here and only then did I realised he was involved in a helicopter crash while ferrying offshore workers from Miri, dated 27th Jan 2007, with one life lost. It seems, according to news report, the aircraft developed failure while trying to engage landing on the offshore deck but our skot managed to safely maneuver it to land on the sea surface instead of plunging it into the sea. I was informed his last wherebout was in Langkawi, probably employed by a flying training establishment. Interesting note Khairul Kamal, Azizan Adam and Abdul Rahman Ali  (allEx TUDM) were from the same batch as Husam's.
