As'kum Skot Rakan2 SePerjuangan menentang segala ancaman NeGaRa. Selaku SecGen 34; Sempena Aidilfitri dan Hari Kemerdekaan yang akan disambut tidak lama lagi, saya ingin mengucapkan Salam Aidilfitri 1432 dan Merdeka3 ke-54 kepada skot34 seisi keluarga,

Kesempatan ini saya mengucapkan, Selamat Menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan ke-54. Saya yakin kenangan2 silam diera komunis kita sama-sama menghayati kepahitan walaupun negara telah mencapai kemerdekaan. Di era kini dengan status umur kita yg lebih matang, Marilah kita sama2 berusaha mencari KeMerdekaan diri menuju Sirohmustakim ke arah yang lebih baik dan lebih kukuh dunia dan akhirat.

Our skot promoted today, 9th Aug 2011

I visited our skot Abdul Halim Othman's facebook n was delightful to find a photo of him in his new rank. According to Skot Ad Azidi, he was promoted today. I was made to understand that he is the first among AFAT G8. May this promotion be a blessing from Allah Azzawajal n that he performs it with amanah , ameen. Congrats ! :D

'KUALA LUMPUR 9 Ogos – Timbalan Panglima Tentera Darat, Lt Jen Dato’ Seri Panglima Hj Ahmad Hasbullah Mohd Nawawi telah menyempurnakan majlis pemakaian pangkat kepada 3 Pegawai Kanan Tentera Darat. Mendahului senarai Brig Jen Dato’ Mohd Haniff Othman telah dinaikkan ke pangkat Mej Jen dan kekal jawatan sebagai Komandan Maktab Turus Angkatan Tentera (MTAT) diikuti Kol Abd Halim Othman dinaikkan ke pangkat Brig Jen dan Lt Kol Zainal Ariffin Abbas Hj Ahmad pula  dinaikkan pangkat Kol. Hadir sama Naib Pengerusi BAKAT TD, Datin Seri Noor Akmar Yaacob, Panglima Medan Tentera Darat, Lt Jen Dato’ Zulkiple Hj Kassim dan Pengarah-pengarah Kor.'

Ahlan wa Sahlan ya Ramadhan Al Mubarak..

“Sesungguhnya RasululLah s.a.w keluar pada suatu pertengahan malam. Baginda solat di masjid (Masjid Nabi). Beberapa orang mengikut solat baginda. Paginya orang ramai pun bercerita mengenainya. Maka berkumpul lebih ramai lagi (pada malam kedua), baginda pun solat, mereka solat bersama baginda. Paginya orang ramai pun bercerita. Maka bertambah ramai ahli masjid pada malam ketiga. RasululLah s.a.w keluar bersolat, mereka solat bersama baginda. Apabila malam keempat, masjid menjadi tidak muat dengan orang yang hadir. (Baginda tidak keluar) sehinggalah baginda keluar pada solat subuh. Selesai solat subuh, baginda mengadap orang ramai, baginda bersyahadah, dan bersabda amma ba’d, sesungguhnya bukan aku tidak tahu penantian kamu, tetapi aku bimbang difardukan ke atas kamu lalu kamu tidak mampu. Sehinggalah RasululLah s.a.w wafat dalam keadaan begitu (tiada jamaah tarawih di masjid)”. (Riwayat al-Bukhari dan Muslim). "

Currently with Kebabangan Petroleum Operatring Company stationed in Lumut Industrial Park. Interestingly he found this blog by searching the net after a prod by his friend. Left the service in 1994 n delved himself in 'Health & Safety ' in the 'Oil & Gas' feld. of service. Currently 'The Macha' (not to be confused with 'Da Macai') is with  an Airline operating in Japan. Left the service in 1992,  'In search of new frontier, to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before'. err that one is Star trek la , actually just a short byline 'to seek new greener pastures'  ;D .. 'Warp speed 5' skot ..akaakaak Remembered his call to tower 'Tower, request parking at civilian apron' during our basic training in Alor Setar hahah

End of Update

While watching  TV 3's Channel news at 12 noon today, I suddenly saw the Chief of Army sending  off Malcoy 7 on a UN mission to Lebanon effectively today, 21st Jul 2011. The team together with a another coy from Brunei, was headed by our Skot Lt Col Hassim Mat. I had earlier received a message from our skot as follows:

'Skot, Saya akan berkhidmat dalam misi UNIFIL mulai 21 Jul 2011 hingga 21 Jul 2012. Pse keep me in touch. Thanks'
