Batalion Kedua Rejimen Renjer telah dianugerahkan dengan Panji-panji Rejimen oleh DYMM Tuanku Syed Putra Ibni Al-Marhum Syed Hassan Jamalullail, Raja Perlis selaku Kolonel Yang DiPertua Rejimen Renjer pada 30 April 1980 bertempat di Stadium Larkin, Johor Bharu, Johor Darul Takzim. Pegawai yang diberi penghargaan sebagai Pegawai Panji-panji adalah Lt M Nor Azman bin Mohd Yahya (3000871).
