Mej (B) Mustappa Bin Othman was born on the 2 January 1959 in Johor Bharu, Johor. He started his career with the Malaysian army on 13 July 1978. He joined the GERAKHAS Regiment after completing his education at Royal Military College (RMC). He was the Security Task Force Commander during the Leaders of Commonwealth Countries Meeting (CHOGM) in Kuala Lumpur. During his service with GERAKHAS Regiment, he had the opportunity to participate in many training courses with military personnel from other nations. They are:

1.British Royal Marine Commando/British SAS
2.Australian Special Forces/Australian SAS
3.New Zealand SAS American Special Forces

I remembered he 'fasted' over a period of three months non stop (Rejab, Sya'aban and Ramadhan) while in RMC. He was small built, very slender then. Not sure now :D.

Ex RGK. Got these photos from TV3's 'Scoreboard 2010' last night at around 0100 hrs 28/09/10. Accidently tune in into the program when i saw yours truly was giving an interview promoting international level  'Base Jumping' from the KL Towers scheduled on the 7th Oct 2010. More info here.      Just had a chat with the dude tonite! Left RGK in 1993 to become a professional Angler! 'Macam professional Golfer la..'. Facebook Account here. Travelling all over the world promoting products and plying his trade to the best he can. Great chatting with him a while back, basically summed up as per  a caption on his photo profile 'I miss the good old days when friends were simple and life was just getting up and going to school but alas we grow older and complication seeps in.....'

    He named a few names which I had utterly forgotten ~   Zamani,  Alias Lisut, Norizan (based jumped recently in Alor Setar) and I added with Zainal Abidin, Mustapha, Mohamad, all RGKs, except for Mohamad , all had left the service.

   And ultimately the name of Arwah 'Ismail Malukut' came up . 'Dia ikut sampai ke RMC, Geli..' hahahahahah that u're right my friend.. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un May Allah provide good provisions to arrwah and his family, ameen
