Mejmranpmc Mohamad, I witnessed a General in true colour, back then in Gubir(1976 ?) just after the Nuri was shot down and 11 lives were lost. BG Arul was that time Panglima Bde (Sg Petani). When the Nuri crashed all the godgets came!! Gen TS Ibrahim (CAFS) came, Lt Gen Ghaz Seth (CGS) came, Maj Gen Mahmud Sulaiman (GOC) and many others. Also were 2 Miinisters (TS Ghazali Shafie, and TS Ghazali Jawi). Inside the Bde Ops Room, Situation was tense, and one of the minister said 'Apa dah jadi dengan askar2 kita sekarang ni??' Gen Ibrahim suddenly burst 'Don't you dare speak about my Armed Forces like that Tan Sri. You can't even imagine what the boys are going through! If you think fighting a war is easy, then you are welcome to wear a celoreng and join us! Otherwise you either shut you bloody mouth or get the hell out of here !!' That WAS the kind of General we all needed, and still need !!"
