30th Apr 2008 - From Skot to Skot... (Nasib baik tak 'From dust to dust'..)

I found the article below from 'Buletin Artileri Bil 19 tahun 2008', handing over appointment between our friend Lt Col Zahri Harun and Maj Haridan Aziz (page 20). The ceremony was on the 30th Apr 2008, exactly 3 years ago on the dot! Lousy photo quality. Actually I was searching for Haridan's photo when I found the buletin. See for yourself if you could recognize both Zahri and Haridan , heheheh :D

'Guess Who..' :D

Received another 'Guess who' email from a skot which I was unfamiliar with initially until i saw the photo and almost forgot about it. Took me sometime to sift thru the emails n recover it.

"mkazir kazir to me This was taken in the Spring of 1975. RAF Halton. '

Who are they?

As I was surfing the web, 'gmail notify' caught my attention when it flashed a notification. The received email went something like this :

Many thanks to the person responsible for the Armed Forces branch of CSI. Err, the photo's kinda blurry. With all those CSIs' gadgetary, we can do better, can we skot? 'lariiiiiiiiiiiiii...' :D

LtM (R) Mohd Yusoff Selamat RMAF

I searched and found our skot Mohd Yusoff Selamat in FB. There was a profile photo of the skot, but I couldn't recognize him outright so I decided to post his photo in our FB group. Skot Haniff has this to say:

Yup , that's about right buddy. Lemme c.. hmm

'Yusup Cina' commissioned as a RMAF Air Defence Officer and left the service after his contract expired , 7 years I think.
'Yusop Gian' (true to the monicker, he did look like a drug addict with 'slitty eyes' akakakakak jgn marah skot :D) left the RMAF after 9 to 11 years(?) to join the civilian sector as a chopper pilot I heard MHS , anyone can confirm?
'Yusuf Rokok' was commissioned and joined the RMAF Logistics branch and left the service a short while after. No sure whats he doing now and currently located 'downunder' (Johor la akakakakak)
'Yusof Bom' , served the RMAF administrative branch and is currently in Kamunting managing a 'Commissioner for oaths' agency

I've managed to find all except 'Yusup Cina'. Anyone knows his complete name?

Promoted to Brig Gen, dated 21st Apr 2011

Al Baaqarah , verses 155 - 156:

Istirja

Once, Abu Salamah came back after he was with Allah's Messenger and said: I heard Allah's Messenger recite a statement that made me delighted. He said:(No Muslim is struck with an affliction and then says Istirja` when the affliction strikes, and then says: `O Allah! Reward me for my loss and give me what is better than it,' but Allah will do just that.) Umm Salamah said: So I memorized these words. When Abu Salamah died I said Istirja` and said: "O Allah! Compensate me for my loss and give me what is better than it.'' I then thought about it and said, "Who is better than Abu Salamah'' When my `Iddah (the period of time before the widow or divorced woman can remarry) finished, Allah's Messenger asked for permission to see me while I was dyeing a skin that I had. I washed my hands, gave him permission to enter and handed him a pillow, and he sat on it. He then asked me for marriage and when he finished his speech, I said, "O Messenger of Allah! It is not because I do not want you, but I am very jealous and I fear that you might experience some wrong mannerism from me for which Allah would punish me. I am old and have children.'' He said: (As for the jealousy that you mentioned, Allah the Exalted will remove it from you. As for your being old as you mentioned, I have suffered what you have suffered. And for your having children, they are my children too.) She said, "I have surrendered to Allah's Messenger.'' Allah's Messenger married her and Umm Salamah said later, "Allah compensated me with who is better than Abu Salamah: Allah's Messenger .' [ Muslim reported a shorter version of this Hadith]

Semoga keluarga arwah bersabar dengan musibah ini dan semoga Allah azzawajal memberikan sebaik baik ganti . Semoga Allah Azzawajal juga menempatkan arwah dikalangan para anbiya' dan semoga terlepas daripada siksaan Qubur.
