Mej (B) Mustappa Bin Othman was born on the 2 January 1959 in Johor Bharu, Johor. He started his career with the Malaysian army on 13 July 1978. He joined the GERAKHAS Regiment after completing his education at Royal Military College (RMC). He was the Security Task Force Commander during the Leaders of Commonwealth Countries Meeting (CHOGM) in Kuala Lumpur. During his service with GERAKHAS Regiment, he had the opportunity to participate in many training courses with military personnel from other nations. They are:

1.British Royal Marine Commando/British SAS
2.Australian Special Forces/Australian SAS
3.New Zealand SAS American Special Forces

MZH : Al-Fatihah to our late friends especially Arwah Razif. I still can figure out his face...how he was so scared of water when forced to jump into PULADA swimming pool. Any way Pak Syed whenever I see you with loreng in this picture it recall me one incident when we were in PULADA. One occasion during night compass march we were lining up to be checked by instructors. They checked throughly to the extend of checking our ass hole with torchlight and asked us to bent down. I want to ask you 'what did they see when you bent down".... I was at your side .. if not mistaken the person who checked you was my present PTD.... Ha ha tell me the truth to share with all friends.

 Basically 'shoving' up into the orifice where the sun never shines .. oooooooooooooohhhh :D

'Samsudin Jonah', fomerly from the Navy (if my memory serves me correctly) . The man has an amazing and uncanny sense of recognition. Right about 13/15 years ago, yours truly  was happily  riding back from work heading towards Shah Alam/Klang, minding my own 'business' on my  trsuted 50 cc 'kapcai' with my uniform when suddenly  I was overtaken by this 'sophisticated' dude with his fancy  inner suit and tailored pants , riding a 'Virago'  with his face fully covered by his  helmet, started to wave his hand forcing me to stop which I hesitantly obliged. He got down,  walked slowly towards me, visibly his eyes were cheekily smiling. I felt quite miffed at the time by this display of sheer arrogance and 'gungho' attitude. (Bedetik gak di hati  ' Sape pulak mamat nih, BERANI die tahan Pegawai  Tentera Duli Yang Maha Mulia berpangkat Major nih, nak KENE ke', tapi biler tgk kite 'kapcai' die 'Virago' tekedu la kite kejap ... akakakakakakak) 'Ko kenal aku tak?' pause... 'Ko tak kenal aku ye?', his voice thundering, that's why he was the Cadet Company Sargeant  Major. 'Dah pakai helmet tutup muka camna nak kenal bangggg?' . And as he slowly 'unravelled' himself .... 'Laaaaaaaaaaaaaa  hang ka....'. We spent about a few minutes chatting aboujt old times before going off separate ways.Camner tengok dari belakang boleh kenai skot, uiiiii  .... He was a Colonel when hold the appointmetnt of  Vice Commandant , RMC. A short bio of the good Brigadier General when he was the 11th Director AW, extracted from IIUM Nadi Watan Club:

Brigedier Jeneral Dato’ Hussein bin Mohd Ali Piah (1986-1988). Dilahirkan pada 17 Jan 1939 di Parit, Perak. Beliau mendapat pendidikan awal sehingga ke peringkat Cambridge School Gred 2. Beliau telah ditauliahkan pada 14 Dis 1958 dalam Kor RAMD. Kursus-kursus yang telah beliau hadiri adalah Kursus Senjata dan Ketua Platun, All Arms Tactic, Kursus Staf di Bandong dan International Management di Amerika Syarikat. Beliau telah dilantik sebagai Pengarah Askar Wataniah pada 1 Jan 1985 menggantikan Brigedier Jeneral Mohd Kassim bin Ismail. Beliau telah menamatkan perkhidmatan pada 17 Jan 1994 dalam pangkat Mejar Jeneral setelah berkhidmat selama lebih kurang 36 tahun. Jawatan terakhir beliau adalah Panglima Logistik Tentera Darat.
