Thank you so much for identifying your goodself. I must honestly admit that I could not possibly remember you even as a cadet since you were from Abdul Rahman Coy before. Perhaps most cadets from SSC 34 instead would remember me as the instructor from Syed Putra Coy who would go all out to ensure his Coy cadets win the Inter-Coy Boxing event so that we would have an extra yellow lanyard besides the RMC lanyard to put on as champion coy of the Cadet Wing. I have retired from the service in April 2001 as a Lt Colonel and susequently worked in the private sector (a French Company) for several years before calling it quit finally. I am now happily retired and enjoying the rest of my time remaining as many friends of mine always reminded me that our life is "short" and whenever we can, we should enjoy it to the maximum. I will send some latest photo of mine in due course. Take care and thank you for all the efforts in catching up with the lost time.

Maka 'berkeriau' la kedet 'Setapppp saya punya jari ada "numb" setap'. 'Baguih la, orang lain ade lima awak ade enam'. heheheh Tuh yg kedet sayang sgt kat setap PTI. Yang 'berbuiih' di bibir apabila tengok PK 'peiwai' adalah 'tak cukup PT'. Bergayut masa tu dengan ketinggian 20 kaki, pakaian 'Full Battle Order' (FSMO?) , siap dengan pack isi batu bata, M16 (HK masa di sebatangkarah) dan seperti biasa selepas 'lari keliling campppp goooo!'. Maka 'gugur syahid' lah PK ke tanah macam nangka busuk, 'bedebuk'. Nasib baik ade 'pack' kat belakang sebagai cushion, kot patah tulang kalu...  Gambar sebagai hiasan. ntah maner amik ntah.. akakakakkaak

PTI : Hmmm... cepat sket!

Maj (R) Roslan Mohd Shahir , Handau Officer, left the service in 2003(?), did a short stinct with Satang Jaya Sdn Bhd, started his own business doing trading, and now immersed himself in a wide scale agriculture industry. Paid him a visit at his abode in Ulu Langat today.

'Hang watpa la Roslan? ' 

'Aku? La aku buat kelapa sawit di Kulim'.

'Uisssh. Berapa Hektar?  '

'Adalah dalam 8 Hektar. Pehtu aku ada tanam 4000 pokok gaharu, tapi la ni adalah dalam 2,000 pokok kot.'

'Tudia aih. Sapa jaga'

'Sebulan sekali aku pi turun tengok. Aku ada upah bangla 3 orang la ni ada sorang ja..'

'OOOooooo. Depa dok mana? pondok ka?'

'Haissssh. Aku buat rumah utk depa. Kalau nak compare standard rumah yg aku buat kat depa kira mcm istana kat Bangla ' (akakaakakaaakaakakaaak)

Capt (R) Zambri Hassan, RRD

' ......Skot kita Zambri Renjer dah seminggu admitted kat HKL Ward 19 Tkt 4'. That was the fb message from our skot , Capt (R) Nawawi Said this morning. I've no inkling on how Zambri look like, but since I was to be in KL today, I decided to pay him a visit at HKL , 4th Floor, Ward 19. Looking clueless, a nurse approached me and after listening to my 'predicament' direct me to Zambri. He was lying with eyes closed. Funny thing though, he noticed me as soon as i stepped into the ward but could not finger  me who i was though i looked familiar. :D. After exchanging pleasantaries, touched abit about our families , we 'touch base' about the good old times during training. 

     Zambri was with the RRD ,left the Service after fullfilling 7 years of contract, did he's 'A level' within a year, applied and did his reading in law at UM for 4 years(?), and opened his own law firm and spent the next 20 years doing what he knows best. 

    On why he was hospitalised, it was due to 'Leptospirosis' (Kencing tikus la bro :D). But not to worry our skot  is given a 'clean bill of health' by the doctor and is now 'fit as a fiddle' and will be out soon. :D

Maj Fauzan Md Tahir, Emergency Response Planner

Major (R) Fauzan Tahir is now employed with MAS as an 'Emergency Response Planner'. Judging by the photos displayed at his facebook, the job entails him to be a 'motivator'
